Rubber Roof and Deck Replacement

Work Done

  • Roof Membrane
  • Deck Rebuild
  • Composite Decking
  • Railing System
  • Stair Construction

This comprehensive project involved both essential waterproofing repairs and a complete deck renovation to enhance both the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the outdoor living space.

We began by completely removing the existing deck structure, including all railings, decking boards, and underlying framework to access the deteriorating roof membrane underneath. The old EPDM rubber roofing was carefully removed and disposed of, revealing minor sheathing issues that we repaired as part of the restoration process.

A new EPDM rubber membrane was professionally installed with proper flashing at all walls, posts, and perimeter connections to ensure long-lasting waterproof protection. This critical foundation work protects the structural integrity of the building while providing a solid base for the new deck installation.

The deck replacement featured a complete rebuild using premium pressure-treated lumber for the structural framework, including new ledger board, joists, beams, posts, and all necessary hardware connections. We installed beautiful composite decking boards using a hidden fastener system for a clean, professional appearance that requires minimal maintenance while providing superior durability.

A new pressure-treated railing system was constructed on three sides of the deck, providing both safety and visual appeal. To complete the project, we built a sturdy 3-step stair system with pressure-treated structure, treads, and coordinating railing. All pressure-treated railing components were properly prepared and painted to provide additional protection and a finished appearance.

The result is a completely renovated outdoor space that combines essential waterproofing protection with an attractive, functional deck that will provide years of enjoyment and add significant value to the property.
