It was gratifying to hire the services of Samar, they were quick to do the job as planned and left everything clean.
The completion process for the backsplash involved several key steps:
- Surface Preparation: The wall surface was cleaned and leveled to ensure a smooth and even base for the tiles.
- Measuring and Layout: The area was measured precisely, and a layout was planned to ensure the tiles fit correctly, minimizing cuts and ensuring a symmetrical appearance.
- Tile Installation: The tiles were carefully adhered to the wall using thin-set mortar. They were placed one by one, starting from the bottom, ensuring proper alignment and spacing between each tile.
- Grouting: Once the tiles were set, grout was applied between the tiles to fill in the gaps. The grout was then smoothed and cleaned to ensure a uniform finish.
- Sealing and Finishing Touches: After the grout dried, the backsplash was sealed to protect against moisture and stains. Any remaining edges or corners were finished with trim or caulking to complete the installation.
This process results in a durable and aesthetically pleasing backsplash that enhances the overall look of the kitchen.
